Self-Serve Area All job seekers are welcome to use our self-serve area free of charge for their employment related needs. Our self-serve area includes a job board, resource library, on-line tools, Internet, computers, printing and fax service. It is hosted full-time by qualified staff who can help you with everything from proof-reading, to printing, or getting you set-up on a computer and ready to go! Additional Support Additional resources are available to job seekers who are currently unemployed/underemployed, and are legally eligible to work in BC. This can include (but is not limited to) personal employment planning, access to workshops, wage subsidies, self-employment, training and/or specialized services based on your needs. Workshops Employment focused workshops are regularly hosted by qualified staff. Workshops are designed to be fun and interactive. Our goal is to ensure each participant leaves with new skills and knowledge. We can deliver roughly 50 different workshops on a wide list of topics. All focused and designed to help you reach your goals! Some topics include: job searching, accessing the hidden job market, using internet and email, interview skills, creating/updating resumes, transferable skills, cover letters, self-marketing, self-esteem, stress or anger management, budgeting, cold-calling, using numbers, communication, working safely, and job retention.
