Elk Valley Employment Centre! 

Whether you are looking for work or looking to hire, the Elk Valley Employment Centre is your one-stop shop for all your employment related needs. There is no charge!  Our office is one of over 70 WorkBC Employment Services Centres located across the province. We serve the entire Elk Valley as well as most of the South Country.

Our store front in Fernie is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm.  Our mobile kiosk is open in Sparwood every Tuesday from 10am to 3pm at the Chamber of Commerce office.

Need to advertise a job vacancy ?  Employers can post an unlimited # of job advertisements for free through our website (which includes jobsinfernie.com).  All jobs are also posted in our office on our job board.  

Registration is simple and can be completed either on-line or through our office.    

New features of our site for employers include:

• Load corporate logos, YouTube videos and website links.
• Reach your local and regional labour market through one site (you may still wish to post provincially through www.workbc.ca) 
• Direct applications to specific email addresses (without the email address going public).
