Placing an advertisement through the East Kootenay Employment website is simple. Follow the steps outlined below. If you experience difficulties or have questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us!
1. Register Online and wait for your account to be approved. All user accounts are approved before being granted access to activate their account and post job advertisements. This is to ensure we create the safest environment possible for job seekers.
Note: Complete all required fields on the registration form, noting which will go public, and hit SUBMIT.
2. Activate your account once it has been approved. Follow the instructions detailed in your activation email.
Note: Please note that you will not be able to activate your account until it has been approved. This is done ASAP during business hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm).
If you experience problems with your activation, please contact us and we will be happy to remedy the problem for you.
3. Begin posting an unlimited # of jobs for free. Check out tips and hints to write a job advertisement with impact. Additional information on the features of the website and "how to" resources are included in the Employer Manual.
Anonymous and local resident (temporary) postings can be submitted through your local Employment Centre. Please contact your local office to arrange.
