Under the new Employment Programs of BC we are pleased to be offering employment services to the Communities within the ‘Cranbrook Catchment’ area which encompass many communities within the Kootenay Columbia Region.
Services extend from Cranbrook up through the Columbia Valley and into Golden. This Catchment serves four major townships including Cranbrook, Invermere and Golden.
With the unique demands of serving rural and remote communities in the region we aim to provide services that are accessible to the surrounding communities by offering a variety of access points to service.
There are 3 store front locations in Cranbrook, Invermere, and Golden, itinerant services in Kimberley, and outreach or remote access services in the smaller communities surrounding.

This Plan is reviewed, developed and implemented annually. It is intended to:
- Identify local community labour market issues and needs and how we will respond, both in providing client services and in working collaboratively with employer and community partners;
- Identify proactive and responsive strategies and tools to quickly address labour market changes;
- Establish community and employer activities to address labour market needs; and
- Outline strategies that respond to the needs of Specialized Populations in our community.
