Job: Marketing Manager
Job Purpose: St. Eugene Golf Resort & Casino is a multi-functional, 125 room and suite resort that is celebrated as the entertainment destination for North Americans. Contribute to this remarkable team as they continue to create a renowned destination of choice - in harmony with Mother Earth and Indigenous cultures. Chemistry Consulting Group has been retained to search for a Marketing Manager to champion their aggressive marketing plan and strategy.
Reporting to the Resort General Manager, the Marketing Manager plans, directs, manages and executes yearly sales, promotional, sponsorship, advertising, entertainment strategies and activities for the resort.

Duties
Work with Marketing agency to develop and execute annual sales strategies and marketing plan to serve the business goals and requirements of St. Eugene Golf Resort & Casino;
Improve market share within local primary/secondary markets; traveling to and targeting markets with a focus on attracting visitors and groups from major urban markets deemed appropriate;
Support the marketing plan, develop, direct, execute, assess and analyze plans for products/promotional programs;
Work with sales managers to ensure understanding for sales strategy and effective implementation;
Assist with the development and implementation of promotions, both internal and externa;
Create a focus on attracting new business;
Recommend monthly room nights target goals for sales team members;
Maintain and expand corporate incentive program via direct mail, personal visits etc;
Create and maintain annual budgets – ensure appropriate follow-up and reporting as required;
Develop as required and approve creative and content for all advertising media;
Develop, recommend and direct the annual advertising and media buys including but not limited to electronic media, billboards, internal resort signage, offsite advertising and assess effectiveness as appropriate;
Develop, recommend, direct and assess effective tourism programs, golf, RV, casino and other packages and partnerships, bus programs and other initiatives to attract business;
Collaborate with various departments, develop, recommend and execute the Entertainment Strategy;
Develop, recommend, direct, execute and maintain oversight of Social Media strategy;
Ensure guest service excellence through modeling the highest standards of guest/client service staff times;
Conduct market, player and results analytics; Create reports for all activities, as directed and required;
Organize and oversee special events;
Drive continuous product/process improvement and enhancements;
Build and maintain productive strategic relationships with germane external agencies, vendors, tourism associations and members, service providers, business community/government leaders, members and organizations
Job Requirements:
Qualifications
University or College degree in Hotel Management/Business Administration/Marketing an asset;
Minimum of 3 years experience in managerial/supervisory level and strong sales/marketing background;
Proven ability to develop advertising and promotional programs – experience in hotel, casino, golf & packaging an asset;
Previous financial planning and forecasting experience;
Proven ability to interact and communicate with all levels of management and associates;
A positive attitude and enthusiasm, and celebrates success;
Strong written and oral communication skills;
Excellent planning and organizations skills with attention to detail;
Demonstrated excellent leadership skills and commitment to stellar client/guest service.
Conditions of Employment Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work late night shifts, weekends, as well as federal/civic holidays and be prepared for some travel. Must receive and maintain a Gaming License from Gaming Policy & Enforcement Branch (GPEB), British Columbia.
